HOW TO READ THE CHARTS

Check the Measurement Type First

Charts may use different measurement points for each sport, garment style and wearer group. Read the row labels before comparing sizes.

01

Garment or Body Measurements

Most charts show a garment laid flat. Use charts marked as a body reference only to choose a starting size.

02

Half Width or Circumference

A 1/2 chest is the flat width across the garment. It is not a full body circumference.

03

Use the Same Points

Measure the neck, shoulder, sleeve, cuff and hem from the same starting points on the reference garment, sample and finished jersey.

04

Account for Sport Fit

Use the approved sport-specific chart for pads, movement, riding posture or a close athletic fit.

BEFORE PRODUCTION

Lock the Size Standard Before Production

A size label is useful only when it matches the correct garment, pattern, measuring method and approved sample.

  1. 01

    Choose the correct chart

Match the sport, garment style, wearer group, equipment and intended fit.

  2. 02

    Test the fit sample

Compare it with the chart and check movement, layering and equipment where needed.

  3. 03

    Approve one size record

Keep the final chart, pattern, sample, roster and special measurements together for production.

Send Your Size Chart Before Sampling

Send the sport, garment style, source chart or reference sample, measurement photos, roster, special-size notes, quantity, destination and required date. Mark whether each value is a garment or body measurement.

Jersey Size Chart Questions

How to read measurements, use converted units and approve sport-specific or special sizes.

Most charts show finished garments measured flat. Charts marked as a body reference are different. Never compare a flat 1/2-chest width with a full body circumference.
No. Sport-specific garments use different proportions and fit allowances. Choose the chart for the exact sport and garment style.
Compare a well-fitting jersey or fit sample with the chart. If standard sizes do not work, record the needed length, width or sleeve change.
Yes. Send the chart, measurement-point definitions and a reference sample or technical drawing. Confirm the fit sample before bulk production.
Test equipment-fit samples with the intended pads or goalkeeper equipment. Record approved length, width and sleeve changes against the final pattern and roster.
Converted inch values are rounded to the nearest 1/8 inch. Use the original chart and approved specification when an exact production measurement is needed.
A unit switch appears only when the source clearly uses one measurement system. Charts with both units or no confirmed unit stay as recorded to avoid an unreliable conversion.
